Hulett Ore Unloader

Sep 10, 2005

The Hulett Ore Unloader was used from the early 1900s until the mid 1990s to unload iron ore from Great Lakes ore carrying freighters, to support the Great Lakes steel industry.

This half-scale model was built to duplicate the Huletts that were located on Whiskey Island in Cleveland, OH. It features a motorized travel and lift arm and cute little half-scale ore cars.
